Lots of high mileage pentastars out there now and the WK2 is a mature platform. The ZF 8 speed is probably the best trans on the market, so I don't see any reason why they wouldn't hold up. I see quite a few 2011+ with >200,000km on them, still appear to be in good shape and commanding a decent price.

You want a chuckle, here's a WK SRT8 w/320,000km (200,000 miles) on it :

Go test drive a used one (previous body style). If you like it, buy the full blown extended warranty, you’d save a ton as they depreciate quite a bit.

They haven’t done the V8 in a while, but I hear the twin turbo V6 has some serious power too.

I paid as much for my car as I would have for a base model Corolla.
