Lets talk about new vehicles

I'm with you on the seat comfort. I want pickup/ larger SUV seats in my sedans...the way it used to be!
If you want good seats you're going to have to test'em out for yourself. I am finding that most vehicle manufactures are putting is some really terrible seats in their products today. I feel as though I am sitting on the seat bolsters rather than in/on the center cushion.

Wow somebody else gets it...thanks!

I forgot one. Kia Cadenza. Something like a Korean Buick. Was quieter, more comfortable and drove nicer than the Lexus I compared it against. Very good looking car too.
I looked up the Kia on cargurus
Rare as hensteeth

Kia Nero? 50mpg wagon/crossover

Subaru outback.. long wheelbase would have to check the seats there are(was?) 3 different seats with depending on the model of outback.

also not sure how you could hate all ford seats IIRC even different packages have different seats so you would literally have to drive a hundred to sit in them all.

my jeep came with 4-5 different seats etc.

for example the compass base seat is horrid and has no stuffing. same jeep but limited is whole different seat.

I live next to a Ford dealer and I have several Fords
Yes the fabric may change but in the compact- midsize range all Ford seats are narrow and I hate them.
I did 16 hrs x2 in a C-Max so I think I get it-lol

How has your Altima been?

How has your Altima been?
kia nero?for that many miles I'd want 40+ mpg.. free money in pocket.

Not an expert on ford seats but the subaru seats are extremely variable in comfort.
I test drove a premium forester and it was ok but the base model hit my back oddly and has short lower part no thigh support.
Touring was totally different too.

Are you in the market for a Forester?

The true Altima story- would be a great commercial....

A pretty lady walks into the gas station convenience store and the owner which I assume was
sweet on her says " Hey, I haven't seen you around here lately"

She replies " You know since we got the Altima we don't stop for gas very often"

I was there when it went down- I said to myself this would be a great commercial.
In reality I think he was flirting with her before and she has been avoiding the place...

Hmmm... I see they have dropped the Cadenza for 21. That's a shame, what a nice car. If I had not been on a German fixation at the time I bought the Passat it would have been the Cadenza.

No regrets with the Passat though. It's been awesome.

I got a high mileage (80K) 2015 Altima S from Hertz a few years ago for a friend who is murder on cars.
He authored a game, "Dan the Car Killer"; I have been losing at that game for many years.
When I got the car, I serviced the CVT; the fluid was DARK DARK brown. I serviced it again in 3K miles. Used Valvoline and Castrol fluid.
Since then, I have done plugs, oil services, filters, Costco Interstate battery and a set of Firestone tires. Basic maintenance only.

142K and does not go through a drop of oil between services.
Nice car. Appears to be bullet proof and maybe even Dan proof.

80K with Hertz was torture to begin with
