Lets talk about new vehicles

Ok gents- this is a list- it is all over the place but I am open to everything

*Subaru- love the oil change deal. But I don't think I should go there. Dealer is 10 miles away but
I'm not open for drama

* VW- no local dealers. I like the Arteon- but see Subaru above

* Mazda CX5 Turbo- looked at the CX30-too small- did not have time to investigate the CX5 but it is on the short list

* 2022 Outlander- coming soon- yes I know but it is ground up new- I just have to look at it
Dealer and I are long time friends- easy to get things taken care of and good deals

* Rav 4- both hybrid and standard- Venza Hybrid still in the running

* Jeep CK Limited X- limited supply- nice ride- i could live with it but I really feel it is too pricey
Value is not there - Low $50K pentastar

* Nissan- I always liked small cars that are roomy- Can I deal with a Sentra or a Altima- I have before but not crossed out yet
Interiors are very nice on high trims

* 4 Runner- the whole world should buy these- Resale value out the roof but I don't want 15-20 mpg

*Genesis G80-GV80- No local dealers- services like pick up at my door are not there now

* Lexus LS500 old habits die hard. Drove it- loved it- Could get my color at a fair price
I can swing it but should I revisit this kind of luxury? I don't want to run it to death and worry about it so it sort of defeats the purpose right??

* Buick sedan- those days are gone

When it comes to auto purchases, I've come to the conclusion over the years you will be more satisfied with the vehicle over the long term if you follow your heart and not your head. This of course excludes stupid moves (like buying a new Range Rover you can't afford) but you get the idea.

So in your case, looking at your list I think that's the Outlander and the LS500 from what you've posted.

And I think you do need to give the CX-5 a serious look first, it's just rated too high by too many people not to at least look at one before you pull the trigger on something.

I will definitely look it over. I also found a few more dealers in the area I did not know about.
I will have to drive the Turbo and non t versions. I do like the red leather

Ground up new? Further research will tell you that this is the Nissan Rogue with different styling inside and front end. The power train is Nissan

I know we discussed it in my original thread on here in detail. New for Mitsubishi but not new.

As said prior I was in a realtors late model Rogue with 187k miles.
Only basic maintenance no big repairs. Mid line trim. I thought it was great. A bunch of places to store things etc.
Even then really nice trim. No cvt issues at all. She loved it.

A customer comes up to me at the Lexus dealer and tells me that the Merc S class is quieter than the LS.
I said yeah I know but do you think that's worth the extra $35 grand...........lol

Must have been a Merc plant because he didn't work there-lol

He did not know........... I was "ON Throttle"

Nobody's talking about Buick SUVs. Are they no good? I sat in the Enclave at an auto show and thought the interior was quite nice. With that said, I hate the name.
I have a local dealer but never investigated them. I guess I should because I get discounts on all GM.
I have Ford stock and get discounted prices but they load up Explorer's well over $50k and I don't see value there.
They won't bring in XLTs

That flies directly in the face of everything I've ever heard or read about the Rogue. Interesting.

I already suggested this once. Here's one more try with visual.
Get this with 6 speed MT and you're going to be a changed man. Maybe even your girlfriend comes back to you.

And since you lost your dear dog while back and thinking getting another one I'd suggest you get brindle Pitbull. It will add some meanness and character to this beauty above.
Very nice indeed
