Yes, the 50's vibe. I'm guessing it is a marketing gimmick, much like the "Sales to Industrial Customer's only." I'm sure they would like large industirial orders only, but you can put anything in the company name and I'm sure they'll take your money.
IIRC, the instructions are on the container. They also refer to Kreen as a "motor tonic." Wonder if they will offer a hair tonic in the future. I don't have a bottle in front of me, but they do call it a derivative of Kroil formulated to engine cleaning. They also says something about a "four-way or four-featured product" on the can. Can't remember the exact words.
Oh, I did get the 4 quart deal and the dispenser is a chemistry dispenser or if you have been to a workplace with an eye wash station it looks like that type of bottle with a cap for storage and a removable dispenser cap. IIRC, it has markings for measurement too.
