Currently own a small Kia city car (Kia Picanto) as a daily commuter.
About 40% of my daily commute is highway (Around 90-100kmh at 3k RPM) while the rest is city driving.
Currently using the cheapest dino oil i can find around which happens to be Chevron Supreme 10W-30 with a OE Kia Filter and im doing around 11.8k miles every year.
I used to do oil changes every 4.7k miles (7.5k KM) but from now on, due to time, im considering switching to a 6.25k miles OCI (10k KM). Sump has a capacity of just 3.5 quarts when doing an oil change and around 4qts when dry.
Do you think ill be fine?
Any thoughts about it?
