How many more OCI's do i need for Restore and Protect?

That seems to imply that its effectiveness at cleaning is gone by 4k - but to me it’s still a modern SP/SQ lube at that point. I would not dump it early without some other reason … With this magical has to be four rounds thing (regardless of engine and conditions) - that can turn into a full change wasted.
Maybe my I should have said "minimum" instead of "at least", either way, Valvoline says a minimum of 4 oil changes at 4000 miles each before you may notice a cleaning effect. I meant no less than 4000 miles per change, not meaning you couldn't go longer than that.

I’d probably use Valvoline Restore and Protect but see no reason to. Or maybe I should start using it to be proactive?
It appears you don't need the Valvoline Restore and Protect. You have stellar maintenance habits-oci's with brand name engine oils. You can use Valvoline Restore and Protect from the day a car is brand new if you want to, and yes, it will prevent and/or clean up ring deposits on the pistons. Your engine doesn't have GDI so that also helps. It being a 2019, it probably does have low tension piston rings, however. Keep up the good work!

Ok did the timing cover gasket cuz it was leaking.

Used Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30. Unfortunately I didn't account for the fact that it took more this time than what I normally put in. It took 6.3-6.5 instead of just 6 this time. So the rest of the 0.3-0.5 has to be filled with what the shop had at the time. (It was pennzoil High Mileage 0w-20.) Is that a concern. Should I drain and refill again due to the "mixing"?

No, it's not a concern. Don't need to drain the oil.

How many miles on that K24 and what oil have you used before that? It looks kind a varnished.

However, I see the cleaning Valvoline Restore and Protect oil started doing on the valve cover. The left side looks cleaner than the right one. Probably that's the side by the cam gears.

Supposedly 120k or so. Though the engine was from an automatic so there's that.
