Currently own a small Kia city car (Kia Picanto) as a daily commuter.
About 40% of my daily commute is highway (Around 90-100kmh at 3k RPM) while the rest is city driving.

Currently using the cheapest dino oil i can find around which happens to be Chevron Supreme 10W-30 with a OE Kia Filter and im doing around 11.8k miles every year.

I used to do oil changes every 4.7k miles (7.5k KM) but from now on, due to time, im considering switching to a 6.25k miles OCI (10k KM). Sump has a capacity of just 3.5 quarts when doing an oil change and around 4qts when dry.
Do you think ill be fine?
Any thoughts about it?

It sounds like you have a cost down low enough why push the oil change interval to save a little time and with out a oil analysis why risk it.

Not sure which motor is in that, but I would just stick with the 7.5k KM interval.
From your mileage, sounds like your commute is around 20-25 miles each way, so should be getting warmed up enough to not worry about fuel dilution or moisture buildup.
With the mix of driving (any traffic?) you may still be close to the "severe" category, are using a conventional oil (although a very good one), and you have a small oil capacity.
Without a UOA, just too hard to tell, most likely a longer 10,000 KM interval would not be harmful overall, but personally would not go that far.

5000 miles is what I am doing with mine (but have a GDI 3.3).

Putting new Kias on the road, we used to set the service interval on the scan tool at 15,000km. They'll do 15,000km on a good 5W-30 no problem.

10,000km services? You'll be fine... the service interval for all Kia's in Australia is 12 months or 15,000km. And they come with a 7 year/unlimited kilometre warranty, so Kia obviously thinks they'll survive no worries. People worry too much!

Like your oil choice. Used Chevron Supreme 10w-30 in my Elantra with good results. If warranty is a concern I would follow what the owner's manual says.

I will do a 10k OCI this time since im almost there anyways. Went on a trip during new years eve and i racked up a few kms and im almost at 10k anyways.

The only proper move is to do a UOA and then post it in this thread to prove you are not a darwin award winner with that strategy.

Chevron Supreme is a very good oil.
Your driving & oci is within om recommendation.
Far from Darwin award winner

However i like the 5K idea with dino. Avg your 6.2 and 5 and do a 5.6K miles oci

Semi synthetic is a joke. You could literally add 1oz of synthetic to a qt, and now it's a synthetic? Marketing hype to pay more money for conventional oil

I do not know your climate or location, but your driving schedule sounds like normal duty. I use Chevron Supreme, mostly 5W-30, on my family's vehicles with change intervals of 1 year or 7500 miles whichever occurs first. For your application, it seems that oil changes twice a year, in the spring and fall, at about 6000 miles would be optimum and meet the requirements of your owners manual. I change the filter with every oil change because oil filter performance deteriorates with use.

IME you would be fine with 10k km OCI.
You may do a blotter spot test and compare against this.
Do note these blotters are mostly on Euro II RON95 gasoline fuel with 500 ppm sulfur.

Adherence to manufacturer's specifications is of utter importance with the GDI engines. This includes not performing oil changes meaningfully more frequently than specified. Changing oil more frequently than spec can be harmful in its own right on those engines.
