Maybe some of you wise folks can enlighten me on this. Forgive me if discussed before. I have been impressed with the very good UOAs on this site for Kendall FS w/Titanium. This oil appears to also turns in very good UOAs when used in DI and Turbo DI engines. However, I have noticed that Kendall now has a 5W30 FS that is Dexos 1 certified but if you look at the specs of the Dexos 1 approved Kendall 5W30 FS it does not contain titanium. Additionally, the Kendal 5W30 FS w/Titanium is not Dexos 1 approved (based on the labels on new red bottles). Another thing of interest is that the Kendall 5W30 FS w/Titanium now only has a .01 dose of titanium where previously the dose was greater than .80. Mobil1 Super Syn and Castrol Edge both have titanium and both are Dexos 1 certified therefore, I wonder why these oils with titanium can achieve Dexos 1 certification but I have to assume Kendall 5W30 FS w/Titanium can not.
