That is the point, and what I strive for. Since that post, I've been considering raising my prices $5 on each tier. In my area, that would put me above the cheapest oil change - Walmart's s-...I mean Pit Crew oil change by $0.12 with tax factored in. But I'd still be the cheapest around on the middle and top tiers. Not to mention I'm using superior oils and far superior filters. I'm still against raising the prices, but the common sense side of me says it is necessary. Decisions, decisions.$20 is very cheap. Even pre “current pricing.”
Edit: ARCO's post right before this further confirms the common sense thought. Even DIY is more expensive than what I'm currently at.
Edit 2: adding my closest Walmart's price board for comparison. It's also worth noting, my current $20/$25/$30 pricing includes the tax, so those are out-the-door prices. Walmart's prices add 8.5-10% tax around me.
