Yes, Maxlife exists in Europe in 5W-30, 5W-40, 10W-40 and 15W-40.So is there a Maxlife 15W40 PCMO for the European market, in the US the only 15W40 maxlife is an HDEO, I do believe it is dual rated SN/CK-4 though.

In Australia we use to get a semi-synthetic Maxlife 20W50 that was API SN/CF & ACEA A3/B4. Not sure if it’s still around.Yes, Maxlife exists in Europe in 5W-30, 5W-40, 10W-40 and 15W-40.
I'm so sorry for such a horrific loss of your wife. May God bless. Not related but after I found my wife dead in the tub 3 years ago from a brain aneurysm.... I refused to go into the bathroom ever again ....i sold the house 2 years later. I shut the bathroom door and never looked inside again.
M1 AFE 0W-30. I know plenty of people like it but I won’t buy it again. I used it for about 50,000 miles in one of my cars and I started noticing varnish on my dipstick and for whatever reason it seemed to be burning off. After switching back to 5w-30 synthetic of various brands, I noticed a lot of carbon soot was ending up in my oil filter. On one oil change I distinctly remember seeing a clump of what appeared to be sludge in the oil filter. I’m not sure what was going on with the AFE 0W-30 but after switching back to 5W-30 I no longer have that varnish look on the dipstick and the carbon deposits have cleared up too. And the oil level no longer burns off.
Before the AFE I used regular M1 along with other major brands of synthetic. I’d be surprised if the AFE was cleaning up after the regular M1 and others. That would indicate the oil was doing some cleaning. I experienced the same thing when I ran various M1 grades in my Expedition, which had previously spent its life on what I assume was bulk conventional. It eventually tapered off as I assume whatever it was cleaning up was removed.

I grew up in a Pennzoil family. Always used PYB. I personally had 2 engine failures (spun bearing) and a few family members had as well over the years. I've steered clear of Pennzoil ever since. Was the oil a cause of the failures? Probably not...but I haven't spun a bearing since.
Wow, same with me. Spun a bearing on PP but it was 4 of 7 quarts low. The oil was being burned, not leaking so it was probably low oil that did it. Regardless I just have that attached to that oil now and won't use it again. Do you know if these vehicles had ample oil, or were low on oil when the bearings went?
