Is Kirkland Signature 0w20 a super high quality full synthetic oil?

A better term would be high quality not super high.
Reminds me of when they started using the term "super premium" to describe cigars. What makes it super? Just another marketing term to try and justify a price point.

i wonder whether there are forums where people argue back and forth about the relative merits of other mundane consumer products, like dental floss or dishwasher detergent? is oral-b glide floss a super high quality floss?

Numerous forums that people debate numerous mundane products. Laundry detergent is a big one. Dishwasher detergent. Pet food. You name it, there is a forum for it and people are arguing about it.

I love the internet. I have no idea how I ever got by without the internet. You had to actually find real live, walking, talking, and breathing human beings to argue about laundry detergent with. It was so hard! THANK YOU AL GORE FOR INVENTING THE INTERNET!!!!!!!!!
Oh man I haven't been in a good liquid vs powder discussion since my laundromat days.

So what you guys think, liquid or powder?

Powder. My washing machine is connected to the plumbing, so the liquid part is added automatically. No need to ship the liquid part to me on a truck... Now I'll sit back and watch this debate. ;)

This was all I used for years because it's awesome oil, but mostly, because it was awesome oil for $25 for 10qts. But sadly, no more. They bumped the price recently to $40 for the pair and I said screw it, I'll just use with Magnatec at the same price point, because, all that magnetism.

Where its $40 for 10qt?
Saw yesterday at my costco $30 for two 5qt juga

IDK if it's "Super" High Quality, but it seems equivalent to Super Tech Full Synthetic, so I'd say it's at the least a respectable full synthetic oil. And priced right, for value.

PF compared the two. If you don't like his homemade "tests" (I know some/many don't), just skip to the VOA&UOA results at 9:16.

They are the same oil different packaging from Warren Distributing. Good stuff.

Kirkland is an average synthetic, similar to other store brands such as O'Reilly, Napa, SuperTech, etc. It is good synthetic oil, significantly better than conventional, but not quite premium. Premium syn oil is the big brands such as Mobil 1, PP/PUP, Valvoline, Quaker State, Castrol Edge, etc. "Super premium" (if that is a thing) is the boutique stuff such as Amsoil, RP, Redline, etc. But if you are not severe service and OCIs are under 10k miles, there's no reason to shell out the big bucks for these boutique brands -- they are way too expensive IMO, but if you have extra cash and it makes you feel fuzzy, go ahead and buy boutiques. The premium synthetic oil brands are very high quality and more than good enough for the average Joe driver. My $0.02

Curious... What data do you have to support this? I would find it very interesting. Thanks in advance.

Notice in my post, use of terms such as "IMO" and "My $0.02" and "if that is a thing." So I have no data, I was simply expressing my thoughts on what might be unofficially categorized as average, premium, and boutique synthetic oils. You should be asking for data on super premium synthetic oil, which categorically doesn't exist yet is the basis of this entire thread.
