Possibly. If you're consuming a ton of oil, oxidation, insolubles, and nitration would likely be elevated. But if you were consuming as much oil as you say you were with 10w-30 and your plugs are oily, you already know what's going on - either worn out rings or leaky valve seals.
Might want to consider a high mileage oil in that case.
