Interesting 2025 Mercedes CLA advertisement I saw the other day

Only on business. In Hamburg, they gave me a drop dead georgous Audi A6. I drove to Rendsberg up in the North.
Love the Germans...

Yeah, point made I guess. You can readily get “luxury” branded vehicles as run of the mill rental cars for the same price as any other brand. I’ve always been a fan of getting diesel BMW 5-series wagons while over there.

Though one of my favorite was a Renault Twingo my wife and I drove (diesel MT) through the south of France. That was a downmarket, but fun car!

MB sends these to US to sell and our marketing knows older buyers don’t have any interest.

They are trying their best to market something that sits in toilet to someone.

MB has one major thing going for it. In the entire world everyone from richest to poorest country all walks of life know the brand and logo. Even folks living in shacks and huts.
