The XG is a nice filter ... I'd have no 2nd thoughts of using one, but have to say it's the only FRAM oil filter I like.

wow if they're other stuff wasnt so junky... im just scared of there quality processes!
Tried one out on our 2003 Pathfinder and bought one for the 02 CR-V. I'll cut her open in 5k.
I've been using an Extended Guard in my Liberty since November 09 (XG3600). Currently 4K KMs on it running GC. I will cut her open probably in May. I don't wanna go more than 6 months on the same oil/filter. Doing a 6K KM/6 month which ever comes first OCI.
I use TGs all the time. At the $5 price point, a good bang for the buck. I thought XGs were more like $10. I barely spend that on my oil.

They're $8-9 around here depending on where you go, close enough. I wouldn't pay full price for them, but I got mine on sale and that's when I'll use them.

I will continue using napa or purolator classic's i stopped using the pure ones like a lot of others for obvious reasons..
