Yeah, I just found out that the girl I sit next to in my government class on a daily basis is actually a model for Ben Sherman.

Funny, I never really paid attention to her until the dance this past Saturday where we hung out toward the end. I later found out through other friends that she was a model...lo and behold, a quick check of the website reveals her.

No, there's really no point to this thread (I know), but I didn't realize that I go to school with such people and not even realize it.

J. Peterman rocks! Coincidentally, just 15 min ago on my way to work the local radio station was doing a phone interview with John O Hurley! (who played J. Peterman) It was great!

I especially like the Father of All T-Shirts, in a soft, very stretchy cotton knit that fits snugly. (Makes you feel like a healthy animal.) Tapered sides. Finely ribbed neck, not big and clunky. The sleeves have a way of gathering emphatically at the top of a man’s arms, even if he is the sort of man who rarely lifts more than a fountain pen.

MWAHAHAHA!

I think it would be easy to sit next to a current-day model and not even realize it. They're not really that pretty. Any skin-and-bones girl, in makeup with a vacant look on her face can be a model today. The Kristi Brinkley type models are a thing of the past, unfortunately.

Bretheren,

Thou art in the presence of a for-profit model.

Signed agreement and the whole nine yards.

Yep.

The modelling career was rather short.

One shoot.

An old ugly plump white guy.

Looked mighty sexy, though, in the hard hat provided.

Cashed the 60 dollar check.

Phone never rang again.

Never saw the picture anywhere.

Maybe shoulda' wore a bikini or sumpthin'.

Sniff.

To me a woman being a model is likely a negative, much higher likelihood that she takes herself too seriously, is high maintenance, is vapid, and has her priorities out of order. I've met so many of this type over the years, I wouldn't give this type of woman the time of day. I honestly can't stand most good looking women, my wife being an obvious exception, not that being a model means she is good looking.
