I believe the Techron complete fuel system is better then the HM

hey all, techron complete fuel system cleaner and HM always gives me confusion at the shop
today i went to autozone and a complete was 11.99 and the HM was $12.99
I did a google search and found a thread from april but seems like it was mixed opinions

some say HM is better as HM vehicle would need more cleaning and some say complete

idk scientific values nor do i know PEA amount but this Chevron pic attached seems to show that complete is better at cleaning and HM is better for storing an old vehicle or etc due to its stabilization properties

Specific to the complete rather then the HM is

Dissolves gum and varnish buildup, and helps prevent new deposit formation
Helps clean and restore operation of the fuel gauge sensor
seems like we all would probably have better use with the complete


please let me know incase i am wrong, dont wanna spread wrong info


btw not sure if its everywhere but they had a BOGO today at autozone

I've been buying the 32oz Techron Concentrate Plus Complete Fuel System Cleaner from Napa for $12.99. 1oz per gallon. Not sure if this is the same stuff or not.

I wonder how much the Diesel "boosts cetane".
Didn't know they had a High Mileage. It seems to clean less.

When comparing, it is important to know what the Chevron claims are between the various versions, but also understand the "treat rate", of the bottles. They have a confusing number of sizes and each treats a different amount of gasoline. I generally buy the larger bottles of the "Complete Fuel System Cleaner" due to all my vehicles have a 20 gallon or larger gas tank.

I'm still working through the four cases (six packs of 20oz) I bought direct from Chevron when there was an online deal price a couple years ago. It was unbelievably inexpensive, plus free shipping and no tax.
