Current car toyota cressida with 250,000 miles OCI 3000 miles Castrol GTX 10w-30 to 20w-50 but plan 6000 mile changes with Delo 400 15w-40 from this point on.
Last car Mercedes Benz 300D sold with 268,000 miles OCI 5000 miles Castrol GTX 20w-50

Current:

'99 F150, 4.6l V8, 101,000 miles - runs 6000 mi OCI on Havoline 5w20 (did 3,000 mile OCI's on Valv Durablend 5w30 to 85,000 miles)

'88 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0l, 58,000 miles - runs 3500 mi OCI on Rotella T Syn 5w40. Was literally driven by grandpa on sundays until two years ago, oil was changed twice a year with Pennzoil 5 or 10w30 (38k between 3/88 and 6/02!)

Previous:

'97 F150, 4.6l V8 - sold at 163,000 miles - 3k OCI on Valv Durablend 5w30.

'89 Chevy Cavalier, 2.0l - donated to charity at 163,000 miles, ran 3,000 mile OCI's on Valvoline All Climate 5 or 10w30 depending on season.

Current:

'93 Toyota Xcab V6 4x4, 130K. Now using M1 5w40 (I don't know what interval I'll do...oil is too new

,will see @5K). Used to do 3K changes mostly with Castrol GTX 10w30 then Valvoline (

), then switched to M1 1w30 @ 115K until present oil.

Previous:

'89 Honda Civic Si. Traded it in (for the Toyota) with ~65K. 3k changes with Castrol GTX 10w30(?).

'01 A4 1.8TQ. 32K miles. Currently using M1 0w-40 with 5K mile OCI.

Previous:
'00 Accord EX-V6. Had 17K miles when I sold it in 2001. Was running whatever oil the Honda dealership put in (some kind of 5w-30 mineral) at around 4K mile intervals.

Current:

'94 Taurus SHO ATX, 105k miles on the chassis, unknown on engine/trans.


Last:

'94 Taurus SHO MTX, 171k on the whole shebang when it went smush!

I do 3k changes of GTX 5/10w-30 and Wix filters. (on both) May switch to synthetic if this new SHO dosen't burn much oil.
