MIne goes up jan 1st. $10 week increase for 90/10 $600 deductible

I just turned 22 and my insurance is $80 a month, no full coverage of course.

It was holding pretty steady for years, until the rollout of Obamacare. It has been increasing dramatically since then.
Mine was 500 a month...supposed to go up 25-30% and have to find a new plan since aetna is pulling out ....will know tommorow...75k a year...better off to be jobless/homeless...bull shiiiittt

Mine used to be free. Our company got bought out and now it's $44 a month for health and dental.
mine was 500 a month; it will be around 700 a month; and my employer kicks in another 2k a month.

What's the penalty for not having insurance? $600? I can buy a lot of asthma inhalers for $4800/ year.

Yes, you can. But one asthma attack where you have to hospitalized... Could cost you a LOT.
But you bring up a great point. The point of health insurance is to eliminate financial hardship should you have to be hospitalized or have other serious health care. Could easily be over $100k. 5% of the people probably spend 95% of the health dollars. But that's how insurance works, right?
