Grocery shopping: where do you folks go?

Locally owned KC metro Price Chopper, Dillons (Kroger owned), Sam's and Costco. Hy-Vees have a presence, but are too far away to shop there regularly. None have outstanding rewards programs, so I shop by price and convenience.

Market Basket for cheapo staples
Hannaford for mid-priced just-gotta-have-its
WM for TP and trail mix
Dollar tree for fig bars
Shaws for 3-day sale cases of coke
Gas stations for milk gallons at state minimum prices

Market Basket has made inroads south of Boston in a big way. They are 12 miles away in Plymouth. I like Art D's vision and stayed away during their family squabble. The local chains, Stop and Shop, Shaws better step up their game.

Wegmans ($$), Shop-Rite, Whole Foods ($$$) and Trader Joe's, depending upon what we are looking for. We have bought a lot of stuff at Costco in the last few years, but it doesn't prevent or occur in lieu of going to a real supermarket.

Once in a blue moon we will go into an Acme.

Jungle Jim's, Meijer and Kroger with the occasional visit to Aldi and very rarely a Walmart, which is easily my least favorite store. If the old USSR had had hypermarts with actual goods available, they would have very closely resembled any Walmart location.
Meijer and Kroger both have useful rewards/loyalty programs and digital coupons which helps save a few bucks.
We tend to plan our menus around whatever is on sale in any given week and we do use coupons as well as always checking out the clearance section.
I guess we're usually pretty cheap.

Costco
Don Quijote (not the book)
Seafood City
Foodland

A locally owned Western Family affiliate. Convenient. It's less than 1/2 mile from our home.
Smiths, which is now owned by Kroger. Good quality, particularly meats and produce.
Costco. Price and quality. We get butter, maple syrup, canned vegetables and fruit, flour, sugar, rice, frozen portioned fish.
On rare occasion I can't pass up the prices on a few items at Walmart, particularly breakfast cereal, orange juice, yogurt.
