GM has ruined the looks of the new Corvette so bad I now like the Camaro better

C8 butt is butt ugly…..
Cayman maybe?

BTW, I think the current Corvette looks pretty good in person. Not an absolute stunner maybe, but I wouldn't call it ugly.
I just think the rear is ugly. Ugly to the point that I am surprised the design made it out of the meetings, never mind into production.
The rest of it is fine for what it is. I read that the weird proportions are the result of a requirement that the rear trunk had to hold 2 golf bags. Someone at GM should have overruled that, if the story is true.

Maybe if it was painted white it would look better, but then name a good looking current model car .
Camaro, several of the Teslas, Lincoln Continental, VW CC, just to name a few...

I hate sitting in the Camaro...
My brother has one and the ergonomics stink...

The reason I think it's ugly is because it has none of the traditional Corvette design traits, which all of the previous Vettes had...it just looks like an exotic import...

I've heard from their owners that you get used to the lack of outward viability...I actually like the rest of the interior, much better than that of the Mustang...

I live adjacent to a ski resort town and its pretty common for me to see all sorts of six figure sports cars cruising around on the weekends. Hell, a dude was selling his 458 Challenge for $195k on the local Facebook Yardsale group a few weeks back.

The C8 gets me almost every time I see one. I always think its a Mclaren or something until I get close enough.

Here’s a silver and an orange Z06 from SEMA. I like the orange but don’t think I’d buy that color. I’m glad they make it for someone else to buy though. My 2 year old’s favorite color is orange and he’d lose it if we had an orange C8. This is one of the few convertibles I’d consider owning as it looks good with the top up as well. The rear has grown on me but still don’t love it.

The first two generations were the best in my opinion. The third generation was decent. The fourth generation was a morphodite and it never recovered.
My rankings in order best to worst; chrome bumper 3rd gen (the 3rd gens after that were garbage), 2nd gen, 5th gen, 1st gen, 6th gen, 7th gen, 8th gen, 4th gen...

The front and rear of the car is just too busy. Way too many grills, concave areas, and angles...they need to smooth it out more like the C5...and get rid of that stupid looking whale tail...

We know stuff !
Maybe, but you don't have any taste when it comes to vehicle looks...hint, hint, you guys are the ones buying all of the all blacked out vehicles, which are hideous looking...

With a name like grampi and a hate for the C8 it’s clear GM’s aim at the younger generation worked! ;)

The Camaro has not appealed to me ever. I don’t even give them a second look. The C8 is interesting. I think from performance standpoint it’s pretty awesome. Looks idk. At a glance it looks like other mid engine performance cars now. If I had a 100k I’d probably buy a used Ferrari…..
