One more thing you could do is change the thread of the oil filter base. I did this on one of my cars and I had about three times the filters to choose from. Have done the same thing on two of my motorcyle's.

Just get a shop to cut the inside threads to M20X1.5 and the outside threads to one that gives you the best choice for you car.You can go back to stock by just taking off the adapter.
Not sure if it's identical, but I've got an XG7317 on my brother's '02 Altima 2.5S right now, & it's been good. He's even used a few Extra Guard PH7317s in the past, but he's bad about changing oil often enough, often pushing OCIs past 7500 miles, wanted something a "little" stronger!
