I am a big fan of the TG and use them a lot but that is the worst "looking" TG I've ever seen.

Blech!

No tears as usual however. Thanks for the cut and post.

Not so pretty but due to the fiber end caps the media is free to bend all it wants without causing a tear unlike a less forgiving metal endcap.

PH & TG during demanding severe duty = Quasimodo, ugly and strong

All this praise and still no free filters for me.

Wow.. that's rough. Appears to have held up, most likely due to the blended media, but I'm not sure I like the fact that it looks that rough inside, after almost 2000 miles less than it's 10,000 rated miles.

I'm assuming it looks this bad because of the cold, and how that effects the oil.

SirTanon: yeah, I was not impressed. I am waiting on my Baldwins as I have saw enough evidence that says they are just as good as WIX and others

Is it possible that it was damaged during opening-up procedure?

car51 already said earlier in this thread that he did that damage when opening the can.

Is your cutter getting worn out? Should be able to cut all the way through so no prying on the can is needed.
