for $6.82 you too can have this filter courtesy of Wal Mart. Looks ok; I’m not suggesting how long you should or could run this filter. Me being me, I bought it cause I have no idea what it fits. Anyone know? Enjoy the photos

She's a pertty one..

Looks quite good. Price being raised makes this filter difficult to justify buying being what the Fram Ultra price is.

It's the filter for the 6.6L Duramax engine. Filter has been around for a LONG time. I've run one on my Dmax way back in the day. Never had an issue with it.

Thanks for the cut and paste, 53 Stude. I've been using the TG's in my vehicles for quite a while now and although I have never cut one open, seeing yours reconfirms my decision to continue using them.
My wife's car get 2 oil changes per year as does my son's. My Ram, now that I am retired, only sees 1 oil change per year due to the low amount of miles but I am perfectly comfortable with leaving the TG the entire time.
The only time I will deviate from the TG's is if the XG's are on sale and the TG's aren't.
