Fram Extra Guard is the best bang for your buck.

If they have silicone, the PH4967 is the best value for $3.88. Second comes supertech ST4967. It depends on your application. For my Kia the PH9688 is $6-7 which isnt worth it when the ST9688 is $2.99. The tough guard isnt priced correctly IMO but likely due to the less volume. With amazon subscribe, you can get a ultra for nearly the price of a tough guard.

Update:
I stepped in Walmart today and cruised by the oil section. I saw that they raised the prices on the Extra Guard filters. The ones I use (PH2 and PH7317) were $3.88 just last week. Now they are $4.20 and $4.12 respectively. I just ordered one for my truck on Amazon and it's still $3.88.

I think they raised the prices in store, but on their website they are lower and there's even a popup that says they price match their own online price.

Yeah. I wonder why it's more expensive since it takes fewer resources to make it
Could be that Fram doesn't crank as many out when they fire up the 6607 production line, so it would basically cost them more per unit to make vs a more popular filter like the 7317.

Wix equivalent 7317 aka 57356 was 8.99 a few years ago and the smaller 6607 equivalent aka 51358 was seriously.... $13.49.

For whatever reason... The smaller filter is always more expensive in Fram, Wix etc vs the longer one in this size... Sometimes stupidly more expensive.
