Ford tractor 8N oil canister converted to TP filter

For demonstration I probably should have used a softer paper or gave it a little more time. If I had a larger pressure difference between the in and out hose it would have a better imprint but might not clean the oil as good.
Plug that hole you drilled in the sandwich adapter and get the most pressure differential it can deliver.

The Frantz with the Frantz 2 port sandwichs get wrinkles the same as any tp filter. The wrinkles are no problem unless the wrinkles are long enough to allow oil to bypass the tp.
No wrinkles here with Frantz and 2 port sandwich adapter.

I already put a 1/8 inch pop rivet in it. All I want is spring pressure in the inlet hose. A little less in the outlet hose. The old Frantz 2 ports worked because the more oil going thru them created a larger pressure difference the same as the Frantz transmission adapters.

That looks like a Frantz with a poor core seal
That core seal is either too small for the toilet paper core or more than likely the tp core is is too large for the core seal. When I used Frantzs it didnt matter. Toilet paper had a 1 1/2 inch core and fit the Frantz tube. Sometimes the tp core stayed on the tube and had to be peeled off.

It fits perfect, 1 5/8" id, 1 3/4" od paper core on 1.8" Frantz seal.

You are also a comedian. Are you the wrinkle detective that found a wrinkle in the Frantz Refiner.
Yes the guy with the red gloves. You saved the day. For some reason it was working with the wrinkle. He probably should have unrolled a little from the Scott 1000.

Red glove man with the Refiner said he was going to make a new video, it's been a few years since he put up that video, maybe he can't figure it out? My favorite video is Guido Guitar, stuffs the whole roll of Scott 1000 in his early Frantz, demonstrates the knee trick by kneeling into the can with his full body weight, while the wife is telling him he took off a few rounds the last time.

You need to know what you are doing to use the larger cores. The Frantz elements are the only paper that fit.
It's not really difficult or some kind of rocket science to fit the larger core paper into a Frantz, it's not the core size of the paper, it's more sizing the paper that they mess up, getting the right outside diameter, some of them need to buy the manufacturer sourced elements.

If it was a "poor core seal" LSI would have changed it in 2015, the year they bought Frantz. I have never seen a tp roll worth using that had a core size of 1 3/4" or larger, it all soft Charmin bear paper with big cores to make the rolls look larger on the store shelf.

Your paper should be put in a sock so you can't see the wrinkles, lol
Not familiar with the Refiner. All of the.tp filters ive used stopped the wrinkels before they got to the bottom especially the.standard Frantzs.Wrinkles usually happen when oil pressure pushes.down on the paper. The only way toilet paper is a perfect fit is if the.core.is 1
.1/2 inches or you use a sleeve. The Frantz element is 1 1/2 inch ID.
