No, but it may move more product...A lower price isn't going to improve how they operate, or make them charge any faster.

eStangs were everywhere on my trip to Norway - cheap electricity and expensive petrol - twisty and hilly roads - EV country …One would think Ford could have come up with another name... A Mustang is a 2 door coupe with a 289 and 4 speed.
Might as well move to Wisconsin where it's illegal to sell brand new Teslas. I had to drive out of state just to get it. Once it's used and a dealer has it, it's fine though. If they do any ICE ban it'll probably be after another 40 ban it, so I don't see it happening here.Washington too.
Other blue states are hooking up left and right.Washington too.
Curious... How many EV owners have you talked to about this? If charging was so bad why are EVs taking market share and why is customer satisfaction so high (at least for Teslas)? That might be true where you live but most places out west don’t have a charger every few miles. Gas stations on the other hand are everywhere due to the existing infrastructure. Maybe in twenty years there will be plenty of chargers but that doesn’t help drivers right now.
It is not a fact.I cannot understand why people refuse to accept this fact.
I'm ready to fully convert. I just needed to try it first. I think that's true for a lot of people and would explain why sales continue to increase as people get to know others that do it.Curious... My take is, depending on your use case, the right EV makes life pretty simple.
I would love to if I could only find one. Since we moved here 4 years ago, I have seen a grand total of 2 of them.Curious... How many EV owners have you talked to about this?

There are nowhere near enough charging stations to support widespread EV use out here. Fortunately because there are so few of them, it isn't an issue. It is not a fact.
If you want to use the EV pickup as a lifestyle vehicle and the bed hardly sees any loads and you don't tow anything, it will work for you for the trips to the supermarket and mall. No, but it may move more product...
The charging network is growing. Do you keep track of the growth-or do you "just know this"?There are nowhere near enough charging stations to support widespread EV use out here. Fortunately because there are so few of them, it isn't an issue.
I come home and plug in. I have only been on a Supercharger twice. 1st time for 5 minutes to see how it worked and 2nd time to top up for 20 minutes on a 200 mile round trip when I started without a full charge. 10 minutes would have been enough.Must be the gas stations you use with long lines?
I drive in, enter my rewards number, use Apple Pay, fill up and go. Way less than five minutes.

So in 4.5 years I have been on a Supercharger for less than 30 minutes and during that time I got a Starbucks and a sandwich. Basically parking lot time...
That’s how the majority of people use their trucks. Those that actually use them beyond local projects or tow long distances might not fair as well.If you want to use the EV pickup as a lifestyle vehicle and the bed hardly sees any loads and you don't tow anything, it will work for you for for the trips to the supermarket and mall.
So what are you basing your thoughts on? I only ask because I have found these cars are different than people think.I’ve only known one owner. She had the Tesla for 2 or 3 years then she sold it.
Agree-I don't know how anybody would buy these thinking they could tow significant distances....but that's just me.That’s how the majority of people use their trucks. Those that actually use them beyond local projects or tow long distances might not fair as well.
I am not sure that's a good foundation for understanding EV ownership...I would love to if I could only find one. Since we moved here 4 years ago, I have seen a grand total of 2 of them.
Yeah, and I understand a lot of pickups with drivetrains of all kinds are used in just that way. I am not one of those people. If you want to use the EV pickup as a lifestyle vehicle and the bed hardly sees any loads and you don't tow anything, it will work for you for the trips to the supermarket and mall.

They are not for everyone, for sure. But as an owner, I can tell you that much of the things you see posted are far from owner experience.
It sounds funny, but I am getting sick and tired of gassing up cars. Even driving our GS, which is a great car, makes me feel like I am trhowing away money just driving it. You change, at least that's my experience.
