Ford Cuts Mach-E prices by thousands

I agree with the hamburger analogy as I do with many of the things you've said.

You can keep moving the goalposts all you want and telling us your opinion over and over, but your original statement is only partially true at best and untrue when it c to company sizes.
Taycan is better than any Tesla. Macan EV will be better than any Tesla. Tesla are years behind.

Show proof.
There are numerous historical records of Ferdinand Porsche’s involvement with Hitler and the Nazis, up to and including the use of concentration camp slave labor to build his vehicles. Henry Ford was no angel either-he worked with Nazi Germany too-but I’ve not heard of using concentration camp prisoners for labor.

The first two completely depend on how one defines better, but I would tend to agree with you.
On the Macan - It might, but it certainly SHOULD be for what it cost, but don't really know how it performs till we see it measured. (Im actually quite interested in it)

People believed Porsche the first time with the original taycan and it disappointed many, and frankly If Id bought one id be pretty steamed if the new taycan is that much better. (I can buy any car I want really, I just dont want them that much)

I could make an argument for Porsche being ahead in many areas, but they are behind in others. So painting that as an absolute just doenst work.

Which car would I prefer to own cost no object - not even close, Porsche.

Change the question to whats the best car for 60K, and thats not even close.

Buyers for some makes are more rate sensitive than others.
This ^
It amazes me that some love to jump on any chance to say "told you so" about EV's but the fact is this is a high interest rate environment we're in right now & the federal reserve Jorome powel is tasked with raising interest rates to slow down the buying. This lower buying is working & it's not just affecting EV's. Of course you're probably already aware of this but you point out what should be obvious. It costs too much money to buy any vehicle w/borrowed debt right now due to interest rates.

Really? Really? A newer car is better? Who would have thunk that. What you are talking is crazy talk. Cars continually improve al the time.

Hamburger outsells Filet Mignon. Are you that mentally crippled that more=better?
Dude give it up already before your childish arguing tactics get you the ban hammer from a moderator.

Porsche makes awesome vehicles, they win races, etc, but they aren't a vehicle for the masses by a long shot. They are a niche vehicle for wealthy people and racing enthusiasts, not an appliance that people who know nothing about cars buy to drive to the grocery store, and never will be. You are comparing apples to oranges. The Taycan will never outsell the Tesla, simply because they have different markets.

Who cares about sales? Better car is what I’m concerned about. Tesla is worse than Yugo and eventually people will realize that.

Better - yeah in lots of ways.

As for Tesla worse than a Yugo, Christian Von Koenigsegg disagrees with you.

It isnt just cars, everything gets better.

It's not so much that the new one is better, it's that the one I bought didnt meet the claims that were proffered at the time

Show me where Porsche said that. Not journalists, Porsche.

So the journalists are lying when they say porsche told them that?

Porsche has already confirmed that the Taycan will make more than 600 horsepower from its two electric motors, one on each axle. Range is expected to be around 310 miles by European measuring standards, so it wouldn't surprise me if that number drops a little when the EPA gets around to testing it. With Porsche's new 800-volt chargers, it should be able to gain about 250 miles of charge in about 15 minutes.

Show me what Porsche said. Not what others have quoted.

I dont recall seeing any charging claims in 18 directly from them. Were there?

I don't recall ever seeing them correct any statements that were made on their behalf either?
