Lever action and pump guns are seeing a resurgence due to this kind of legislation.
All guns are assault weapons, as i understand the definition. This is a purely technical statement.
That sucks. Takes me about 10 minutes to put 100 shells through the gun.
They tried to bring one to the house floor in new Mexico that would ban anything that held more than 7. Didn't matter if it had a detachable mag or was semiauto or if it was a handgun.
When questioned why they tried to bring a scorched earth bill like that to vote the response was "we didn't mean for it to ban regular guns" I call bs.
Plus it looks like the Illinois assault weapons ban is circling the drain. A judge there threw out the law and put a 30 day stay on his decision to give the state plenty of time to appeal, which they will and they'll lose.
Once Illinois falls they'll all fall.
I understand....you missed what I was saying.
All weapons can be used for assaulting, therefore all weapons are "assault weapons". Words have powerful meaning, and some people will expand their meaning to what they want to use them for, those to who use "assault weapon" as a term, for example.
I have at least 15 of those crazy things. They even assault me sometimes. Wonder why they cant be arrested for assault?
My 590 Shockwave assaults my left palm every single time I shoot it.
