Trying to reduce blood sugar spikes.

Came across this soda. What caught my eye was beet sugar. Is beet sugar a good sweetener to negate blood sugar spikes?

If you like it but want to cut the sugar intake, one option is to get La Croix or polar brand cherry flavor sparkling water and cut it half and half.

I absolutely really don't like cherry sodas (except for Stewart's Black Cherry, though I haven't had one in years) because they make my very much under control acid reflux act up, but I tried a Pepsi Zero Cherry and Cream this weekend and man, it was good. No acid flare either. And I REALLY dislike Pepsi in general.

Sugar is sugar. Beet sugar is no better. Just as sea salt or himalayan salt is still sodium, may have more trace minerals, but still sodium.

I would really like to try it but I am very sensitive to the artificial sweeteners that are used. Gives me a splitting headache :(
