Favorite Oil Brand for OPE

I use whatever store brand synthetic 5-30 at whatever store I'm in. They are all Warren manufactured or equally good brews.

I use to use rotella T5 10w-30 in a gallon jug. However, now I just use Deere Turfgard or+50II 10w-30. Its ~3.50/qt and is easily obtained for me as I can just grab a few quarts on a parts run. My JD X360, Toro SR4, and Generac 6500HL all use 10w-30. The quart bottles are easier to use than the big jugs. Haven't had an issue in any of them with burn off and its not worth the extra cost to use synthetic for me as annual hours are not that high.

4 stroke - any cheap, slippery liquid will do.
2 stroke - Motul 710 and Ipone Scoot City are my favourites. Both smell nice and are FD rated.

I use the cheapest 10w30 synthetic I can find.

I switched to ST 10w30 synthetic from B&S SAE 30 when I put away my mower for the end of the season.

It seems to be working well.

When use up this quart, I will probably start buying it in the 5 quart containers of either the regular ST synthetic or the HM synthetic. And I'll dump 1 quart at a time from the 5 quart container.

Super tech 5w-30 or 10w-30 synthetic or rotella 15w-40 if equipment is run only in summer ( or out of supertech)

What's your guys favorite oil brand for OPE that is available in 10w-30 full synthetic (Mobil 1, Supertech, Quaker State, Pennzoil, Valvloline) and Amsoil is not worth it for me, so if that is your favorite, what is your second favorite brand?

Could someone help me out here..is "OPE" Outdoor-Power-Equipment? Also, and changing the subject, I bought a new mower today with the 4.4-HP Honda engine -- could someone tell me if 5W20 Full Synth. would be ok to run in it, or is the "20" to light/thin, please? The Owners Manual simply says that generally "10W30" is suitable and works best for a wide-variety of conditions.

Thanks in advance!

I’d use 10w-30 synthetic (since its new). Breaking in the engine and regular maintenance are more important than oil weight.

Mine gets changed using the left over oil from my Mother-in-laws Buick Encore oil changes. Her 1.4l takes 4.25 quarts so that leaves me 3/4 of a quart to save and add to as the oil changes get done. I did both of my mowers and the oil was basically a mix of P.P. and QSUD 5w30.

I use straight 40W (SN) Traveler from Tractor Supply in my Kawasaki powered zero turn. 5 quarts for $11. In my Florida summers the 40W is approved by Kawasaki.
