Seeing more fuel cleaners specifically to counter the effects of ethanol gas. STP, Lucas, and one from Stabil.

They cost you money by preying on ethanol fearmongering.
Theoretically they counter effect of ethanol , I would just buy regular kind if you looking for cleaning.
The only day I would buy that if every gas within 50 miles is atlease 20% ethanol. and i would use it once every few fill up to be safe .

I would avoid anything from STP or Lucas.
E10 is not a bad fuel for modern land vehicles that are run often and empty the tank on a monthly basis.
Marine and OPE engines do not fit this criteria and here lies the problem.
Now using corn to make E10 is a whole other stupid story.

Pffffftt. The stp stuff that comes in a similar can to seafoam works great,and the Lucas fuel treatment contain pib which is shown to improve fuel consumption,just don't overdose or it will cause worse consumption.
The Lucas oil stabilizer is a joke but the fuel stuff works great.
Op. I think that these manufactures are preying on peoples fear of ethanol. Ethanol is dry,so adding a tc-w3 2 stroke oil or another form of upper cylinder lubricant will not cause any harm when used as directed.
I've been using tc-w3 in the fuel of all my vehicles and my air compressors/generators at work and my service guy is amazed at how well my carbs work,cleanliness of the combustion chamber and fuel pathways.
I've been brewing up my own concoction though. A mix of a few things.
When I first picked up my hemi I was lucky to get 14-16mpg highway,now with my witches brew I can attain over 20mpg and with no wind and last night I got 24mpg. I did just change my spark plugs on Saturday though which I'm sure helped.

Gets added at every fill up (which, is typically 10-12 gallon fill to first click).

OK. Why empty the tank? When I am around town, usually I try and keep at least half a tank of fuel and fill up then. Only when I am on a long road trip do I run the tank out.

as i have said i like MMO. But i cant say its the best cause i havent used them all. But i think my engine starts VERY fast. which brings up a Q, does starting fast mean better MPG? i dont know. my guess is tc-w3 should do good all so.
