Best Injector cleaner With P.E.A. for the money?

That's about 2.5 times more expensive than Techron.

It has a broader application. It can clean piston rings, not just injectors like Techron.

$25 for a 12 ounce bottle is a tough pill to swallow.

I'm currently using Cleanpower Fuel Treatment and Fuel Injector Cleaner. It's on sale for $95 per 16 oz. As odd as it seems, it's remarkably good value, as 16 oz treats 1000 gallons of fuel.

All I am saying is you can't really know the compounds or even percentages within 10-20% even if that is the real compound or similar. No doubt it's interesting but not that useful and overused here on BITOG.

Agreed. Just looking for clues. For example, I have less trust in Regane now seeing a big change in the product and SDS for the "Complete Fuel System Cleaner". It used to treat 35 gallons and now only 25 gallons. SDS suggests a bigger change in that version than the Regane and Regane High Mileage. All versions seem to have some PIBA which can create combustion chamber deposits. Maybe it's a required formula change for DI engines but if you use top tier, you likely need PEA more than PIBA. (Top Tier allows combustion chamber deposits up to 140% of baseline)

Many here recommend Red Line and their SDS has remained remarkably consistent. The recent version does also suggest some PIBA as well but otherwise it seems the most transparent SDS and highest amount of PEA. So my personal choice is now the Redline and the new Valvoline product given it's claim of 100% cleanup of direct injectors in one tank.

From what I've seen before, Redline SI1 would be my first choice, techron second. As for Gumout mentioned, the regain series has a decent amount of PEA, but the other stuff doesn't seem to have any. Out of Techron, Gumout regain and Redline, keep your eyes out for sales, all 3 are good. I have no opinion on BG44k

I'd look into Ravenol VST or even step up more to Ravenol RUP for that. Both are generally group IV and V oils

I hate to admit this but I'm no so sure my 2023 Harley M8 Street Glide like the RED LINE Cleaner. My bike has about 9,000 miles.

I noticed as soon as I aded the Red Line I got LOTS of decel popping something that has never been an issue befor the cleaner was added.

I noticed when it starts the RPM's drop a bit, slightly stumbles and comes up to speed and then runs like normal. I'm a audio engineer so I her things others don't and the bike sounded ... Well LESS, with the Red line in the tank.

Its a 6 gallon tank and I ran a tank and a half of gas mixed per instructions, I now forget but I used I think around 4 oz per the 6 gallons regardless about 15 gallons of gas total through the system and I still have about 1/2 half a bottle of Red line I didn't use. So with one bottle saying it treats up to 20 gallons I'm safe I think...

I now have cleared all that Red Line out and on my 2nd tank of pure gas after the REDLINE.
The decel popping stopped but when cold and started the first time the rpms still drop, it stumbles and then everything is then fine...

Performance wise the bike runs strong and the normal sound is back to normal. Could I tell the redline helped anything? Nope?

I did change my oil after the redline. My bike sure didn't like when the redline was in my tank! and I question with the change in cold starts that now continue did it harm anything? Funny that decel popping and a back fire boom scared a few soccer moms beside me at the red light when the rdline was in the tank.

Any thoughts or anyone ever experienced similar? REDLINE makes this cleaner in the smaller bottle motor cycle friendly version so it must be safe to use in a Harley?

I will be changing the plugs soon so perhaps that will help the cold start issue?

Yes, along with Chevron Techron. There's a thread here about testing PEA additives (and a YT channel). It was difficult to get a clear answer to "best value PEA additive" because each product has different directions.

What I was hoping for was a list of products with a $/ml (or $/oz) of a certain PEA concentration.

Yeah but which Chevron Techron? Best of that brand is the 20 oz. bottle labeled Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus.

Running the TT+ from Amoco 89 octane E5 with a splash of Redline Si-1 nets my best gains. Roughly 40mpg again today, I round up to the nearest dollar amount just to keep it simple.

STA-BIL 360 Marine. Way more potent/concentrated than the red STA-BIL Storage one. It's got PEA, and a single $24.99 bottle treats up to 320 gallons of fuel. 1oz/10gal recommended ratio. Good enough for me.
