The problem with certificates is that with ever more e-mobility other's will have less and less need to pay for Tesla's profits because of less and less need for compensation (shifting their own fleets), just an aspect of the transition.
Problem with capital now is that it won't remain interested for many diverse reasons; most fleeting capital won't even be interested in ever watching Tesla starting to make money from selling cars. Timid capital ain't in to somehow ever find it's way from there into the new "ecosystems" that Tesla would have to become a part of instead of shooting vehicles to the moon, polluting space and atmosphere and reason.
All that for just the US market, not China, not India (where fresh chinese start ups are beginning to expand) or rests of world in which TSLA won't easily remain 10 years, months or whatever ahead for another 10 weeks or days. Tesla may be known all over the world by now, but four letters with a market capitalization hardly stop others from doing business. Often business that Tesla only yesterday mentioned to have a handful of Germans design a "next level" car for it, eventually. Or let Chinese dependance figure out how to retrofit mature instrumentation for.
Germany of course can be expected to pay for building up capacities, more crisis-money and unelections will support stock market rallyes etc. pp., that's always and everywhere part of the bets. No crystal balls needed. Regarding "TSLA" as a Q-esque venture capital movement on the other hand – well, really wannabee TSLAnons?
