Anyone on here have any dealings with this oil. I was looking for a locally sourced 0w30 for my old truck. Called the local Delo dealer asking about pricing for their 0w30 syn. He told me they don't stock it but carried Elf for a local guy for his motorcycle. It's under $10 a liter wich puts inline with VR1 syn and Mobil 15w50.

You are going to have to share your criteria for selection with us. If this is for the F 150, you do not need any of these expensive synthetics, nor do you require a "0-W" designation. Also, are you suggesting that Mobil 1 15-W 50 is an alternative to the Elf product?

No. Small block chevy with flat tappet cam, dual valve springs, 80 lbs oil pressure cold.

0w30 wont help much over a 5w30 unless you are talking -20F~~ or below.

80psi cold sounds reasonable.

From what I remember of "The Dukes of Hazzard," GA does not get that cold.

Incorrect.

I understand the want to use the "Best" in your Chevy. Personally, I would use LiquiMoly LongLife 0w30 or 0w-40. Thats what my Dads 93 Chev 350 is getting this spring. Or Motul. They have Very Good products. Their 300V Trophy 0w-40 would be Sweet in that engine.
