Bigger question is how soon - I’d be in no hurry to invest …It's going to be interesting to see what is going to happen to the price of gas over time with this whole Venezuelan deal. My guess is it's going to be coming down. The only question is how much?
And with the extra added refining capacity we are now in control of over there, that is another positive. None of this is going to make EV's look any more appealing.
Between this, Teslas that burn you alive, and parking lots full of iron that stay put once the federal subsidies are gone, I think we should agree that the emperor had new clothes.
As debated on other sites - mandates and/or the help/harm are the forbidden subjects … Left with real freedom - so many just don’t care what’s in your own garage or bedroom …Between this, Teslas that burn you alive, and parking lots full of iron that stay put once the federal subsidies are gone, I think we should agree that the emperor had new clothes.
It wasn’t an EV it was a PHEV. It sold very well until they had to do a stop sale when the wiring harnesses started catching fire.Smart move, sell people what they want, and obviously an electric Jeep is something they don't want.
Now you've got Iran, with its economy in total shambles, and the totalitarian government over there on the verge of total collapse. They are soaked to their very core in oil. Trump has already told them if they keep hurting and killing civilians over there we're going to drop the hammer.Bigger question is how soon - I’d be in no hurry to invest …
This shadow tanker scheme ends somewhere as well …
I agree, but our refining capacity is our problem, and Venezuela has no EPA, or at least not ours.Bigger question is how soon - I’d be in no hurry to invest …

What specific problem … $2.39 for Exxon is fine with me …I agree, but our refining capacity is our problem, and Venezuela has no EPA, or at least not ours.
They used to have 1.5 MBPD refining capacity. Much of its offline. If it hasn't been pilfered for copper our experts can have it running in no time.
Our problem is we don't have enough refining capacity for our own needs. We still ship in refined product. No one will build new ones here - process is too long and encumbered. What specific problem … $2.39 for Exxon is fine with me …
I’m not getting into speculation over other countries …
Just had a lock over that …
Jeep Wrangler PHEV iteration is trash. Nothing but issues for ski buddy specifically the EV part, thankfully wife mostly is work from home and dealer is decent.
What percentage were leased in order to take the $7500 rebate? It wasn’t an EV it was a PHEV. It sold very well until they had to do a stop sale when the wiring harnesses started catching fire.
As more electric vehicles are put into service, the price of fossil fuels for our ICE vehicles will slowly go down over time. Right now gas here in KC is approaching $2 gal and our gas tax here has gone up 13¢ over last few years so this is telling me that gas really is getting cheaper. I paid $2.149 yesterday before a 29¢ discount from fuel perks at Hy-VeeIt's going to be interesting to see what is going to happen to the price of gas over time with this whole Venezuelan deal. Apparently there may be rules on the horizon that would outlaw "Tesla doors".Between this, Teslas that burn you alive, and parking lots full of iron that stay put once the federal subsidies are gone, I think we should agree that the emperor had new clothes.
Because TPTB have nothing better to do?Apparently there may be rules on the horizon that would outlaw "Tesla doors".
No it's due to power being cut in an accident. China is also looking at mandatory mechanical connection on doors.Because TPTB have nothing better to do?
Yes and they wanted an all electric Jeep too, both canned. Smart move imo.It wasn’t an EV it was a PHEV. It sold very well until they had to do a stop sale when the wiring harnesses started catching fire.
