For security reasons, PayPal may delay the release of a payment to the seller, even if positive feedback is left. (Payments are usually released 24 hours after feedback is left.) (NOTE: NEW RULE INSERTED HERE)

eBay and PayPal work together to make the marketplace safer for buyers and sellers by helping to ensure successful transactions which, in turn, can mean more sales for you.

If you see On Hold-Ship Now next to your transaction, this means that the funds are in your pending balance and you must ship the item in order to receive your payment.

If your eBay payment is being held, PayPal may release it when one of the following is met:

• The buyer leaves positive feedback after receiving the item. (Payments are released 24 hours after feedback is left.)
• 21 days have passed without a dispute, claim, chargeback or reversal filed on that transaction.
• 3 days after PayPal confirms item delivery.

You can log in to your PayPal account to view the current status of the transaction.
 
21 days is too much. I'd be [censored] too.

One time paypal charge my credit card as cash advances because I was using CC for non-ebay purchases. They refuse to back down and refund me, and good thing Chase did wave it when I told them what happened.

From then on I make sure I can do every single ebay transaction under the table if locally, even if I'm not the one that makes the profit, just to make sure ebay isn't doing well.
 
Outside of the windows mentioned above (there was no " dispute, claim, chargeback or reversal filed...") Paypal finally released the hold. I guess they just push that limit....hold your cash as long as possible. Real ethics, for real finance.

Alright, the sucker closed his eBay store. His feedback has dropped another percent since a week ago.

We were exchanging e-mails last week about where my part was coming from and he would reply to me immediately. But yesterday, I asked him if my order had shipped out yet. No reply.

Now what?

Rule of thumb is if he didn't send you a tracking #, he is lying.

Time to file a item not received case with ebay.

File a dispute with PayPal (if you used them) and eBay.

Did he give you contact info of the shipper? You could contact them directly for help. If not, ask the seller for that info. I noticed in his feedback he gave out a phone number to someone.
 
I just bought some norelco replacement blades on ebay "buy it now" last night for $23 shipping included. Walmart was $37 plus tax. I paid right away with my GM credit card through paypal. I haven't got an email from the seller yet this morning.

You can file for a claim on that too. I've done that and recover all but the initial listing fee (like 5c only, big deal).

The problem is if you have lots of transaction per day the labor to do all these filing will kill your business.
 
I guess I'm fortunate, the problems I've had on ebay as a buyer and seller have been very few and easily resolved.
don't receive item? file a claim, get money back, leave neg FB.
don't receive payment? file a claim after 7 days, get listing fees refunded.

simple.

btw, I've been active on ebay since '01 and have over 1200 positive feedbacks. we run a store selling custom hand laminated switchplates. never had paypal put a hold on my money; when it gets over $50 or $60, my wife transfers it to our bank account, or we spend it w/ our paypal debit card. never had a problem w/ paypal.
 
I received an e-mailer today stating that the package has shipped. So I guess all is well.

Can anyone confirm that KYB has a warehouse in Conover, NC?
