E15 is coming on Tuesday

The President is lifting the 10% Ethanol rule on Tuesday. I don't think my cars will like that new fuel.

This doesn't mean that that the default fuel will be E15 rather than E10. It means that stations will be able to sell E15 through the summer (it's really an EPA rule waiver), something that is very different from every station selling E15 instead of E10.

E-15 rule to be waived

I see that the president is going to waive the EPA E-15 rule to allow wider distribution in an attempt to reduce fuel prices. I found it interesting that there is an argument that E15 will produce more smog in the summer. If this is the case then why does E10 or E85 reduce pollution. Or is it...
