I have always used splenda with cream although not really that heavy on either. Recently I have lightened up on both to the extent that I use maybe a half pack splenda, and just the tiniest a mount of 2% milk in a 10 oz. cup. I am hoping to get to the point of drinking it black. Well see.

Have others transitioned this way?

I just can’t do this, to me I like my coffee as more of a sweet treat (and as many here know, I don’t like it hot, I put it in the fridge overnight to make it an iced coffee)

I use 6 cubes of sugar in a 10oz coffee, as well as a decent amount of half and half cream (also known as 10%)

^^The opposite of me, for sure.
Whole milk -commonly called "3%"- tastes good in my coffee.
Other dressings just don't hit my taste buds well. Skim milk fails and heavier creams do way too much.

NOTE: Varieties of coffee creamers have taken the shelf space once held by instant coffee products....so people like 'em.

Enjoy what you like. My buds can't do sweetened coffee.
It's funny when I go into a Latin coffee shop and have to verify that I DO NOT want sugar.

Black.

In southern europe, people have coffee with milk in the morning and espresso after 12:00. Not sure why.

Used to drink coffee with cream/milk 1-2 sugars over 15 years ago I went on a diet cut sugar out went to 1 Splenda or equal then decided to cut that out domino effect cut out the cream now it’s just black coffee.

Nothing wrong with a little sugar and some real cream.

Back in the office it all depends on how good the Coffee brew is. A Dirty coffeemaker or dripping a flaming hot empty carafe sitting on the warmer on kills the pot immediately.

Sumatra or Verona out of the NEWCO commercial drip, coarse Bunn bleached filter, some cream and about a 2/3 teaspoon organic Florida sugar crystals.

Hate pasteurized milk It has a funny off taste in coffee.

Just hit me, Why don't we have coffee spoons in the U.S.?

I drink it black if it is a quality light roast freshly roasted with quality beans. The cheap supermarket beans don't cut it for me and require milk.

Store brand half and half ..just a little. A teaspoon of some mocha or caramel or cinnamon type creamer in a 16 oz travel cup with an insulated sleeve. Same with my espresso. Double shot from the Gaggia Brera with a little half and half and a dash of creamer. I use one of these whizzer things to froth it up a bit before the coffee goes in.
