I'm now down to three vehicles. I sold the X1 to a friend who runs a nice indie shop specializing in German cars. A few years ago there were four BMWs and a Jeep. I'll probably add something in a year or two -almost certainly an older BMW such as an E30 325is or Z3- but for now I'm very happy with things as they are.

I gave our beloved 2006 TSX to a friend. Great car. Right now our GS is up in our Petaluma house garage as wifey is driving the RX.
I drive the Tesla cuz I can't afford gas, but I love driving and using the old Tundra.

Just sold the 2012 CRV my dad was driving (he's finally too old at 90 to be trusted even over short distances). Kind of sad to see it go it was a nice little rig, but I'm happy for the new owner. I'll be carting the old man around in my Accord 2 door from now on.
P.S. hold on to that GS. I still miss mine.

Out of all the cars and motorcycles that have come and gone in my life, my 88 325is is the only one that remains.
There becomes a time to do that, don't know what causes it, but you just know when the time arrives...I'm there, just need to decide and that is the hard part.
Good luck! How about an e21? Good cars, and deserve a bigger following than they have, but were in between two great series; how do you follow the 2002? I always liked the look and that was the cool car of my youth.

2015; the current M2 may well be the last M car that isn’t a PHEV or EV.
I had a 1975 2002 and loved it. I would definitely go with a 1973 tii if the price was right. Ditto for an E21 323i.
It always feels good to get back to basics while lowering insurance throw-away. I struggle with going back and forth. Get down to 2 cars. Get another. Too much. Sell. Get another.
@bighead2586 - what year was yours? I had a ‘14 and it was a great car. If I could get another, I’d like to try the GS200T, in spite of the poor marks on power. The 350 was more than I needed but lovingly appointed.

Hey it was a 2013. Awesome car. Didn’t know there was a 200T. I loved the engine/tranny combo with the. V6. Mileage wasn’t too bad 23mpg mixed driving. Never would have sold it but lost it in an accident
When i was younger i always wanted multiple cars to drive in different scenarios. Now as i get older and can actually buy another car i have lost the interest. Something nice for me to just maintain our 2 daily drivers and not have something sit around. Especially with fuel having such a short shelf life.
I am constantly playing tug of war with my 2012 Civic. I always want a newer one, don't need it but the old one is just getting a little more aged every year. It's the only vehicle that sits outside and not in the garage. The boat is stored inside offsite. I called insurance for a new one and it's quite a lot more per month. Struggling to keep it with 150,000 miles.

Not sure about now, but it used to be that Honda’s design life is 400k. My family has seen 350k+ with a civic of your’s vintage. Beside fluid changes I think it needed one alternator and 1 compressor, and a wiring repair to the backup light circuit, and thats it. Most of my family’s Hondas get tapped in the bumper or some minor accident and get totaled out long before giving much trouble.
Yes I do believe my Honda will go another 150,000. I really keep the maintenance up on it. I did replace struts and some front end suspension and steering parts for around $1000.00. I replaced the tensioner and pulley as well as the serpentine belt. times. I am still on the same alternator, air compressor, and water pump. I don't mind putting a little money in it once in a while. I did replace all the tire pressure sensors with OEM Honda parts. I am surprised the vehicle looks as well it does for the mileage and the fact it sits outside.
