Good Morning oil filter porn addicts. Off my daily driver 2011 Ford Focus SE with almost 100k on odometer. Oil was installed at 95k with this filter. Oil was Mobil Delcac 1 ESP 5w40. At 97k I had the dreaded misfire and spark plug tube wells fill with oil. Topped off after co worker and I did repair with some HPL NO VII 5w20. Sump had 3.5 quarts Delvac and 1 quart HPL NO VII 5w20 so a “custom blend”. Mighty vac worked but think I didn’t get quite all old oil out as after adding. New oil dipstick shows black.

In/on: OG FRAM ULTRA 3614 and HPL NO VII “euro” 10w20

Enjoy the photos and adbv was very soft by the way.

I looked up the Fram 7317 equivalent with the white can and blue lettering and the pictures show a silicone adbv... listed as down to 20 microns but was not detailed etc.
More research required....
Any thoughts Adam....I'll go look up the part #

DONALDSON P502007

Not stellar but well built...The resale sites always cherry pick the specs.
One site shows the silicone adbv...????
Thanks @BrendanC

I think I'd burn that adbv as it could be silicone.

I can say this: I looked up my vehicle or the Focus and it’s what donaldsons showed for my car. It didn’t leak, or nothing bad happened. I have 7 more of them to use. I’ll use them as one you guys linked hands down way too far for my safety level.

Looks good and another example of perfect louvers.
Yes indeed it does. Even though made in Mexico it wasn’t leaking which is good. Wish I’d have took more time with MightyVac as struggled to keep it not air bound. Oh well, possibly 1/2 or 1/4 quart old oil in sump won’t hurt.

My go to on my Maverick hybrid is Amsoil Euro 0w30 with the K&N select 1002 oil filter... a winning combo..

I don't like the baseplate on the K&N 1010 model for my Mitsubishi 2L
Looks like a orange can Fram
But considering it..

Looks like yours came out perfect. Stude. Really want to run this filter again someday on my 2011 yaris daily haha

I wish i would have left it on for another 4-5k. But I have enough of these and 7 OG ULTRA’s to last me til either body falls off or…..
