Does Mobil 1 Advanced Full Synthetic 5w-30 Contain GTL Base Oil?

Mobil, probably most oil producers, use base oils in regards to price. At one time GTL was cheap and available so Mobil was using it. That might not be the case now. I think they dropped GTL.

So, base oils used is a moving target when it comes to formulations.

I used a LOT of that stuff back in the day and I'm sorry I didn't save one as an archaeological relic for future generations to discover.

Me too! At one point in time I had 80L of the stuff! I was so sad when I used it all up and couldn’t find it anywhere in the stores, they had all switched over to the newer formula that wasn’t green and didn’t smell good anymore
