It’s very rare that I’m in the backseat but I wear one if I am. The physics don’t change being in the back seat vs the front seat in an accident.

Frankly, wearing a seatbelt in the back seat is as much for your safety as it is for the people in the front seat. For those sitting in the front seat, a 190 lb unbelted person in the back seat becomes a hell of a thing when they slam into your seat from behind during a frontal collision.

Always. It's not unusual for unbelted people to be ejected from the vehicle in an accident.

My father didn't used to. Until one time I was driving my parents somewhere and we got cut off. Thankfully, no wreck, but he did eat the back of the drivers seat real hard.

Of course I do. Plus if a cops see's an unbelted person both him and the driver get a ticket.
