Figure 1 was an example of an unexpected result.

It tells us nothing about what "media" was tested.

The paper uses that to segue into a discussion of how this unusual outcome could be explained.

The difficulties of simulating real world filter performance with a standard test was one of the reasons that Filter Guy provided the white paper on how the 2006 filter test standard was devised.

Your goal was to establish that 51% or more of the time oil filters do not become more efficient with use, and you have failed to do so.

To bring this to a conclusion and free up the bandwidth, I am marking you "ignore".

Sure, M+H is going to write a paper to be presented at a filtration proceedings that only covers a 1 in a million instance, lol. Why do you think they would spend so much time, money and effort in even modeling such a phenomena? Because only 0.01% of oil filters lose efficiency with debris loading? 😄

I guess you have just been erased. 😄

Filter guy provided a white paper ... so where's the link to said "white paper"?

Your goal was to establish that 51% or more of the time oil filters do not become more efficient with use, and you have failed to do so.

I said "not all" ... not that over 51% or any other specified percentage of filters do. Since you want to play the majority game, your goal is to simply fine just one official test (ie, SAE paper or similar) that clearly shows that over 51% of all oil filters get more efficient with use.

To bring this to a conclusion and free up the bandwidth, I am marking you "ignore".

Good ... that's what people do when they can't get back up anything they say in a discussion and go off into strawman land, lol.
