Curved Monitors

So, I was looking at moving to a larger monitor. I'm currently running a 27" ViewSonic and like it, but want to upgrade. I'm homing in on a 31"-32" curved.

A NVIDIA 1660XC will be running it. I will be using it about 50% Gaming, 40% BITOG, and 10% other stuff.

Does anyone have one and how do you like it? The online reviews of these are mostly positive. Does it take getting used to?

A whole new office set up is coming next week, so I'm buying soon.

I bought a 55" curved TV, but I sit close to it when I play Xbox. They're nice, they kind of wrap into your vision better than a flat panel. I wouldn't pay a significant premium for one though.

Isn't the curved thing more of a gimmick? Just so they can charge more. Have a 27" too and it seemed huge from the 21" it replaced, which seemed huge from the 15' that replaced that, etc. Looks like the ones bigger than 27" go up in price exponentially though.

I have 4K 65" Samsung. I feel it does enhance the viewing angles but don't over pay for the feature.

I've used both and wouldn't spend any extra money to have a curved monitor.

The only thing I don't like about curved monitors is that they're usually stretched so it requires some funky resolution.
