CT MM Nugold Motor Oil - for Canadians

Just did some digging, the Motomaster Motor Oil, called Nugold (in a black jug, gold lettering) is a Shell Canada product, pretty sure it's the same as the Formula Shell that is also sold. Just for anyone looking for a dino oil that is pretty good.

Nugold used to be re-refined oil. But that was "back in the day", i am sure things have changed

All Motomaster oil is made by Shell.

On its back, it says that its virgin oil that meets GF-4 specs.

just last week formula 1 was 1.95 per litre. nugold is 4.4 l for
10.95 = $2.50 / l. so this is a "fake" sale, again. also, the formula 1 was available in 5w20, and nugold is only 5w30 or 10w30, so it is a cheaper oil, being sold for more money. i stocked up with 2 cases of formula 1 5w20. my stash is pretty full, i don't need any more oil for some time.

If the Nugold is FS equivalent, what is the Supreme in the red bottle? I figured that was more of an FS equivalent than the lower end Nugold. I have F1 Syn in my garage right now, I guess its basically what the FS synthetic is (which we don't see in Canada)
