Contaminated Dealer Bulk Oil

I was on another forum, and a guy there had gotten a high sodium reading on his UOA. He could not figure out where it came from and so he went back to the dealer and got sample of the dealers virgin bulk oil. Sent it off to Blackstone and it had 7ppm Fe, and 390ppm Na!

Anybody else, ever get a VOA of dealer bulk oil?

XOM I think has/was/still is had a sodium compound in there additive system.

Yes, bruce. I believe that Uniflo has a high sodium level.
