Glad you like gevalia.
I hadn't had such luck trying gevalia a handful of times.
I equated what gevalia is to coffee equals what Hickory Farms is to sausage.... Nice marketing and packaging... but the actual product....
Glad you like gevalia.
I completely agree with you about Gevalia coffee being less than stellar. It might just be the European roasting style that doesn't agree with my taste buds since other German and Swiss brands have a similar "bland" profile. They all seem to have a strong taste of hay, regardless of brand.Glad you like gevalia.

I still have my Gevalia branded coffee maker somewhere. I kept up my subscription for a couple of years. I liked the little bricks of dark roast but I didn’t drink enough to use it all before the next shipment arrived.I completely agree with you about Gevalia coffee being less than stellar. However, I will give Gevalia a shout out in regards to their branding and packaging appeal. When Gevalia first entered the very competitive U.S. consumer coffee market about 20-some years ago, they had an enticement offer that I could not pass up. I signed up to be on their mailing list (with no commitment to purchase), and they sent me a free starter package which included a Gevalia branded 10-cup drip coffeemaker and a sampler box which contained four 1 lb. bags of their most popular ground coffees. After trying their Traditional Roast and House blends, I donated the rest for the office communal coffee brews.
This and some smoke roasted extra dark roasts caught my eyeNo I don't @Pablo.
Yes Zenius@Pablo, you must have the Zenius in your room; it's part of the PRO series. The capsules are disc-shaped, right?
Hope you're enjoying your trip? Probably dark and oily roast, like a French roast.
Lavazza Classico is my wifes and I favorite commercial coffee thus far. Still trying new things but for the price it'sLavazza Classico Medium Roast K-cups. 22 k-cups for $14.66 at Walmart. Sure, there are better coffees, but with availability, cost, and flavor all factored in, this has become my every day go-to.
The fire roasted dark is something quite lovely such luck.
