Coffee - Your Current Brew

Wrong. Mostly.

Nespresso is not exactly espresso but it’s good.

You must have some caca coffee
Only fresh ground brewed in a Moccamaster. Also, aeropress is without a doubt, the most disgusting way go brew coffee or whatever that dank water that comes out of that plastic tube is. Not opinion, fact.

Most important is your coffee bean. Number 1. All stop. Most important are your coffee beans.

What beans are you using?

Take Purple Mountain Kona medium roast. (not caca fake Kona blend)

1) Mr. Coffee Drip.
2) Pour over with allocated 200°F water.
3) Keurig generic self fill cup.

Tie between 2 and 3. Drip is still really really tasty but not quite as good.

Mocamaster is drip, no?

Moccamaster is drip. Consistently brews at 195-205 in six minutes or less...SCA Golden Cup standard.
I'm not fooled by the various Kona blends. I like Peets Major Dickasons, Costco,Kirkland Signature Colombian Supremo, San Francisco Bay Coffee Company French Roast, Mayorga Cubano roast...not necessarily in that order. Medium-Coarse grind.

Costco has some pretty rank beans.

What were you running through your Nespresso and Keurig?

Comparing caca ground when, maybe fake, put in a plastic mini can, stored how - comparing this to immediately ground and brewed coffee??? We found the problem! 🤪:poop:
Yeah...Amazon is not the place to buy coffee...of any kind.
Bought a bag of Don Pablo beans once. Never again. I tossed it after the second pot. I'll never know if Don Pablo is good coffee or not.

Opened my last bag of Peet's Italian. Don't know what will be next. Options are Peet's Organic French Roast, Starbucks Italian, or the 3 different Lavazza options I have. Or maybe the maxwell house from Costco. I have a few more bags of Peet's Pumpkin Spice but I am Pumpkin Spiced out at the moment.

I have had marvelous luck with Tim Horton's Red Bag. It comes in fresh from Amazon through S&S. Got a bag in today. It has stayed very fresh in my AirScapes vacuum canister when I open a 2 lb bag for many weeks. This a a medium roast that is not quite a true medium roast. Hence all the delicate flavors have not been removed. For a $6 lb common coffee it is quite good. Almost excellent in the new French Press, so smooth. Just needs a touch more body for that rating. I don't think pricey coffee sells fast enough on Amazon.

I've swung and missed several times buying coffee on Amazon. But this TH looks interesting.
