Both are pretty good, I was hoping the Mauro would be stronger. I prefer darker roasts (Mauro usually is), not to be confused with a burnt/bitter aftertaste. I should know better, the 100% Arabica roasts are usually a let down.HOLY whatever. Never tried either. Need full report. Stat. London calling! Warsaw calling!! Schnell!!! Rapido!!!!
I’m also a fan of getting overcaffeinated on a day off!View attachment 193213

I had to look it up: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third-wave_coffeeWhat is third wave?
I love a good 17th wave, medium light roast, pure Brazilian, which seems completely foreign in the USA. So smooth, most would be floored.Just curious - Are there any fans of modern, Third Wave, light-roast here?
I can’t recall anyone (except myself) posting anything besides dark roast.
Peet's has some that I would like to try but I can't justify some of their prices at this point in life. Let me know how it is.View attachment 193097
Described as sweet in the cup and innovative on the ground, this balanced and bright crowd pleaser is a sign of an astounding region back in action. Doesn't say much but I subscribed to Peet's small batch series to try new-to-me blends and roasts.
