There are not many vehicles out there that still have direct ties to the 1980's.

Where have I ever denied that they are ancient designs? Remember, I corrected you when you were a few years short on the age of the Ranger. They are ancient designs. They are also very good ancient designs that have developed a loyal following for a reason. There is nothing wrong with that. They are at the end of their product life cycles...actually they were years ago, but they are still good vehicles.

You're wrong with your statement that I don't like the Ranger or CV. That's not true. What I do get a little tired of is the cheerleaders, who keep repeating the same old "cheer" over and over and over and over.

You lash out at the CV and Ranger every chance you get. Why, I do not know.

People were congratulating the guy on his purchase and making the right choice for him. Get over it.

And thanks for dragging my Goldwing into this (for whatever reason). That was a really classy thing to do. I rarely speak of my Goldwing on this board.

My point was that different people like different vehicles. Just because the Ranger and CV don't work for you doesn't mean you have to bash them every chance you get. There are a lot of good reasons why people like them, so maybe you need to lighten up a bit. The thread was pretty civil before you made your typical comments.

Congrats I think you'll love this combo. Should get 27-29 on the highway with plenty of power to boot. I regret not getting extended cab and auto when I got mine. But regardless my truck has probably seen more "truck" duty than the F150 and for sure the S10 before.

And I did buy mine because of the ancient history.. I could care less about the newest technology I want something reliable. If I want the newest technology I'd go buy a sports car.. IMO only.

I definately like the truck and bought it for the same reason you bought yours. It's proven reliable, looks good and does exactly what I need it to.

What exactly is the advantage of a 5 cylinder pick up over a 4 or a 6? Seems like a solution to a problem that didn't exist.

I read somewhere that the 6 cyl wouldn't fit so they made a 5 cyl. Anyone know if this is right?

Keep it civil. He asked if a Colorado was a good pickup. Everyone has their preference of make and model but we need to provide reasonable information backed with experience.
